$1.00 Dress Down Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow (Tuesday, November 3) students can dress down for a $1.00 donation. In honor of our nation’s veterans, the proceeds will go to an organization dedicated to helping those who have fought for our freedom. Since Tuesday is election day, please dress down in colors of red, white, and blue.

Important Note From the Nurse

Mrs. Vignati would like to make sure parents are aware of a voluntary recall by Sanofi US of AUVI-Q (the “talking” Epi-Pen that comes in a square box) due to potential inaccurate dosage delivery.  This is the only type of Epi-Pen affected by the recall.

Parents of all children who may use this medication for treatment of anaphylaxis are encouraged to contact their health care provider for further information.  The nurse will need parents with students affected by this recall to send in another form of Epi-Pen as soon as possible.

Please share this information with other parents you may know whose child(ren) have an Epi-Pen.

Dress Down Day Tomorrow (Friday)

To thank everyone for all their hard work during our accreditation evaluation, Mrs. Kanute is giving everyone a dress down day tomorrow (Friday, October 30th).  With it being the day before Halloween, we wish to stress there are to be no masks, costumes (except K and Pre-K), painted faces, or colored hair.  Students may wear (appropriate) Halloween-themed t-shirts.  All other dress down guidelines, per the school handbook, apply.

In addition, Mrs. Kanute will be giving all students a “no homework” night this coming Monday, November 2nd.
