Instrumental music students in grades 6-8 will have lessons and band on Tuesday, March 22nd since there is no school on Friday this week.
Please note, Chess Club will be held again this coming Tuesday (tomorrow) after school. All 2016 Chess Club dates can be found on the Chess Club webpage our school website.
As a reminder, our Hats Off to Reading Contest runs through April 1st for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Please remind your students to keep on reading! Details on the contest can be found HERE.
Please remember, all SJS parents using the Extended Day program must complete a new Extended Day Registration form for EACH new school year. If you will be using the Saint James Extended Day program for the 2016-2017 school year, please complete the form below, sign it, and return it to the school office as soon as possible. Please note, the form is editable using Adobe if you wish to type your information in, however it must be signed before sending it in to the school.
Yesterday, Saint James School students celebrated the patron saint of Ireland – St. Patrick – with limericks, poems, songs, Irish step dancing, and bagpipe performances. Most importantly, students continued to learn more about who St. Patrick was and his role in helping establish the Catholic church in Ireland.

Box tops will be counted for the next dress down day this coming Monday, March 21st right after school (if there is a snow day Monday, they will be counted on Tuesday). Please be sure to send in your box tops by the end of the school day (2:05pm) on Monday.
Please take a moment to read the attached information regarding the latest Adult Bible Study course offered by St. James Church. All Saint James School families are welcome to participate.
