With its super-close proximity SJS, consider grabbing something from Lucky Taco for an after-school snack (or to reheat for dinner later), or to simply have a great meal after picking your child(ren) up at extended day.

We are looking to identify current Pre-K through 8th grade students whose GRANDPARENTS attended Saint James School as children (for an article we are working on).  If this applies to your family – and we have not already contacted you – please e-mail our Advancement Director, Amy Guenther, by tomorrow morning at aguenther@saintjamesschool.net.  Thank you.

This is a one time class required for all SJS volunteers. To register please click HERE and choose the “Hartford, CT (Archdiocese)” option from the drop down.  Click on the “Start Registration” button at the top of the page to register.  If you have any questions, please contact the SJS main office.

We currently have 42 Grade K – 5 students signed up to run on behalf of SJS on October 15th, but we are looking for more!  All Grade K – 5 Students who expressed an interest in running (and have not already signed up) will be bringing home the Manchester XC Race form/information in their “take home” folders today (a copy can also be found below).  Please send your form to the office by tomorrow (9/28) to receive a free Saint James School/XC Challenge T-shirt (your child must be present at the event to get the shirt).  We particularly need more Kindergarten boys, 1st grade boys, and 2nd – 5th boys and girls.

Thank you to all our parents for coming out for Saint James School’s Family Fun Night on Friday.  We had a great turnout and everyone seemed to have a great time!  Special thanks to the HSA for putting this event together, to the baking committee for the yummy snacks, and to our 7th & 8th grade student volunteers for running bingo.  Below are some pictures (click to enlarge).
