The SJS Baskeball Spirit Wear has arrived and was distributed to students today to bring home. We sincerely apologize for the delay caused by unforeseen circumstances with respect to this order.
Saint James School would like to extend a very special Thank You to Santa Claus for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit the school yesterday (and hand out candy canes). All the kids – from Pre-K through Grade 8 – really enjoyed his visit!! Here are a few pictures captured on the upper floor during Santa’s visit.
Saint James School will host the 4:00pm mass on December 24th, Christmas Eve. The school choir will perform in addition to SJS students serving as readers, gift bearers, and ushers. If you are unable to attend on the 24th at 4:oopm, the full Christmas Mass schedule for Saint James Church is as follows:

A huge Thank You to all the Saint James School families who, once again, donated so generously in support of local families who need a little extra help this Christmas!! If you are still planning to donate, please have your new, unwrapped toys in by tomorrow, December 21st. Thank you again.
The Saint James School HSA is hosting a Dine-Out Night at Chipotle (48 Hale Road, Manchester) this evening (Tuesday, December 20th) from 3:30pm – 9:00pm. Show your server the attached flyer and 50% of proceeds will be donated back to Saint James School! As always, we thank you for your support! (please consider liking or sharing our Facebook post to help spread the word).
Saint James School is currently collecting new, unwrapped toys for local families in need of a little extra help at Christmas. Toys will be collected through December 21st and will be donated to local families. As always, we thank you for any assistance you can provide.
The HSA is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Father/Son event this year for all SJS boys and a special man in their lives. Please save-the-date for a fun time at Dave & Busters in Manchester on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Additional details will be coming home at the start of the new year. The HSA would like to offer a very big thank you to everyone involved in yesterday’s Christmas Store. There were so many wonderful volunteers who helped set up the store and worked throughout the day to assist the students as they shopped. The students had so much fun shopping! A very special thank you to Mrs. Pesola-Strickland for shopping all year long for the gift items and for coordinating and organizing the store!
The next Middle School dance will be held this Friday, December 16th at St. Bridget School in Manchester. The dress code for this dance is semi-formal attire (no jeans). Please remember, students must bring the completed permission slip and the $5.00 entrance fee with them to the dance. Here is the Permission Slip from St. Bridget for this dance.
