Saint James school will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week this week with the following activities:

Monday:

Dine-Out day/night at Tomato Joe’s;

Tuesday:

Prospective Family Open House from 8:30am – 11:00am.  (Please contact Amy Guenther if you know of a family interested in attending or scheduling a tour);  There is no school for the Pre-Kindergarten students this day; Final day of collection for Community Partners in Action;

Wednesday:

Moms’ Night Out (Hosted by the HSA)  — Event is full;

Thursday:

Wacky Tacky Dress Down Day – Just like it sounds, students can come to school in wacky (or tacky) dress down attire.  So be sure to pair those polka-dot pants with your favorite plaid shirt, and make sure your socks and/or shoes don’t match.  Whatever helps you express your wacky style, today is the day to wear it!  (Standard dress down guidelines apply – see the SJS Handbook page “9 of 18” for specific details…also for girls wearing yoga pants/leggings, shirts must hang to at least mid-thigh);

Friday:

Blue & Gold/SJS Spiritwear Dress Down Day & School Pep Rally!  Students may come to school dressed down in blue & gold (the school colors) or wear any Saint James School spiritwear.  (Orders from the recent SJS spiritwear fundraiser should be in by Friday).  Dress Down guidelines above apply.

Have a great weekend — We look forward to a fun week next week!
