Just a reminder that there will be a Green & White dress down day for all students this Friday in honor of all the parent donations and hard work by our parent volunteers that went into making those amazing class baskets for the 2013 Gala.

For the safety of your child and other children, we are asking all parents who park on Saint James Street at afternoon pick-up to please get out of your car and come to the garage where the teachers stand when picking up your child(ren).  If there is not a parent or designated person getting each child, the teachers will be taking them back to the school to wait for someone to come get them.  We thank you for your understanding and corporation as we work to ensure that our children are safe and going home with the right person each day.

Just a reminder that updated calendars have been published for the remainder of the school year to account for snow day make-ups.  Just in case you missed the original e-mail from February 15th, they are attached again below for your convenience.  Please note, there are NO CHANGES to these documents from the ones you received on February 15th.

Please review and complete the attached document if your child(ren) are in grades 3 – 8 and are interested in playing Soccer for Saint James School this year.  The completed registration paperwork should be turned into the school office (please note “Attn: SJS Soccer” on the envelope) along with the applicable registration fee.  Please make checks out to “Saint James School.”

If your child does not already have an  Athletics Health Form 2012-2013 on file with the school, please print and have your child’s physician complete this prior to March 22nd.  Children cannot begin practicing without this document on file.

Boys & Girls in Grades 3-8 interested in playing spring Soccer for Saint James School should contact Coach Jon Sargent for program information at sjssoccer@charter.net.  Volunteer coaches are also needed if you are interested in helping out.

If this is your child’s first sport for SJS this year, please remember to have your child’s physician complete the Athletics Health Form 2012-2013.  Children cannot participate until this form is completed and turned in to the school.
