You’re Invited:

Families looking at educational choices for Pre-Kindergarten, Elementary, and/or Middle School are encouraged to come see the Saint James School difference.

Our traditional, accelerated, and innovative curriculum is designed to challenge students to think, create, question, and discover while providing a solid foundation in all major disciplines.  In addition, our teachers have the flexibility to utilize a variety of teaching methods based on their experience of what works best for the students currently sitting in their classroom.

The inclusion of faith, fine arts, and numerous extra-curricular activities provide Saint James School students with a well-rounded foundation for success in High School and beyond.

We invite you to join us at our upcoming open houses to learn more:

Parent Testimonials For Office of Catholic Schools

The Hartford Archdiocese Office of Catholic Schools is looking for parent/guardian testimonials to post on their website about how much parents value their children’s Catholic school education.

Please consider writing a testimonial regarding the benefits of a Saint James School/Catholic school education and submitting it to Mrs. Kanute to pass along to the Office of Catholic Schools (as well as for possible use in Saint James School’s own marketing efforts).

Testimonials can be written and turned into Mrs. Kanute at the school office or e-mailed to her at pkanute@saintjamesschool.net.

We thank you for your support in helping us tout the many wonderful benefits of SJS!

Basketball Sports Fee Reminder

Just a reminder for students playing basketball this season – the sports fee is $65 for boys and girls Junior Varsity and Varsity teams.  The fee is due to the school office this week.  Coaches will be in touch with their team regarding practice dates and times.

As previously mentioned, due to an overwhelming demand among boys this year, Saint James School is designing a structured developmental play program for our 4th & 5th grade boys.  This will allow our students to play against teams equally matched in ability.  This program will have a $40 sports fee.  Please bear with us as we work out the details concerning this new program.  We expect to have more details for parents shortly.
