Order pick-up for anyone who ordered Butter Braids or Cookie Dough through our recent fundraiser is tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5th, from 1:45pm – 2:15pm at the SJS Breezeway Door.  All items are frozen and we do not have room to store them overnight so please remember to come by!

For families with a student in aftercare, orders will be brought down to the cafeteria for you to grab when you pick up your student(s).

Thank you to everyone that participated! This fundraiser brought in $2,334 for our school!

The SJS basketball (and Cheerleading) season kicks off this evening with the following teams practicing:

Girls JV (4th & 5th Gr.):  4:30 – 6:00pm

Girls Varsity (7th & 8th Gr.):  6:00 – 7:30pm

Please remember, if your child has not submitted their SJS Athletic Health Form (signed by the doctor) they cannot attend practice until it has been received by Mrs. Thornton.

November 4th begins Winter Uniform for our K-8 students.  This means students may no longer wear shorts to school, girls must wear navy tights or navy knee-high socks with their skorts, and Middle School boys (Gr. 6-8) must wear their SJS Uniform button-down shirt and a tie on non-gym days (the tie does not have to be any specific pattern and bow ties are acceptable).

White socks may now only be worn on gym days.

Good luck to all the SJS Cross Country Runners who have been selected to participate in the CT Middle School State XC Championships this Saturday at Wickham Park.  For participating families, please remember that runners must be at Wickham Park by 8:45am for check-in and course walk through.  The girls will race at 10:30am and boys at 11:00am – feel free to come out and cheer for our runners.  Good luck Sabers!
