Lawmakers in 36 states have enacted various forms of assistance for tuition-paying families to help families enroll their children in the most appropriate elementary or secondary school. Connecticut is not one of those states.
In the coming weeks, however, Congress will be in the unique position to help tuition-paying families in all states – including here in Connecticut- through the Educational Choice for Children Act (ECCA).

Donations should be brought in to school on Thursday and given to the homeroom teacher. Dress down attire must contain red, white, pink, or purple to match the theme. Please remember all dress down guidelines from the school handbook apply.

That game starts at 6:00pm. At 7:15pm, our Varsity Boys Blue team will play the Saint Bridget School Varsity boys. As a reminder, the entrance for the gym at ECHS is back behind the building.

/in Uncategorized /by Saint James SchoolWith returning student registration now under way, we wanted to remind families that a NEW Parish Affiliation Form must be completed each year to qualify for the Catholic Tuition Rate. The 2025-2026 Parish Affiliation Form should NOT hold up your registration (which is due by 2/21/25) but must be received no later than June 30, 2025.
For parishioners of our 4 Manchester Catholic Churches, please remember that the parish name should be listed as “Saint Teresa of Calcutta” and the parish address is “80 Main Street, Manchester.” These forms may be sent directly to our school office for the required signature. All other parishes, please obtain your pastor’s signature before submitting to SJS. Please reach out with any questions.
