Virtus & Volunteer Requirements – St. James School

As you may be aware, all volunteers at Saint James School must first complete a Background Check and VIRTUS training session prior to volunteering in any capacity at the school (field trips, classroom parties, school events, lunch duty, coaches, etc).

Two local VIRTUS sessions are listed below (we typically only have one at St. James per year so we highly recommend attending this one if you don’t want to travel to other parts of the state).

Prior registration is required to attend a session. To register please click HERE and choose the “Hartford, CT (Archdiocese)” option from the drop down. Click on the “Start Registration” button at the top of the page to register. If you have any questions, please contact the SJS main office.

Where:	St. Augustine (Hartford) 10 Campfield Avenue
When:	Saturday, September 24, 2016 10:00 AM

Please submit a copy of the filled in Background Check Form to the SJS Main Office. A copy of your VIRTUS certification must also be submitted to the SJS Main Office after completing your class.
