“Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up!”  1 Thessalonians 5:11

This week teachers have been kicking off our new biblically-based, social-emotional character development program with students.  The theme for this first month is “We Need Each Other” and focuses on how important it is for us to support each other.  Yesterday afternoon, fourth grade science teacher, Mrs. Devanney, demonstrated this concept with students in a “scientific way” showing how the more kind actions that we offer our community (represented by water), the more we can raise each other up (represented by the ping-pong balls rising to the top of the container).
