Congratulations to SJS 8th Grade student Brendan Abbamonte, whose school science fair project on corrosion was just named one of 300 finalists (out of 1,862 competitors from across the country) at the Society for Science Junior Innovators Challenge.
Brendan received the invitation to compete in this prestigious event at last year’s State of CT Science and Engineering Fair after tying for 1st place at the school level.
Later this month, 30 finalists will be announced from the Top 300 Junior Innovators. These students will be invited to Finals Week, held in Washington, DC.
Way to go Brendan!
