Saint James 4th grade students recently finished researching and writing a report on an assigned sea creature. Research was gathered using at least one book and at least one website, with students utilizing some of their science class time to conduct research on the school’s iPads. Students also designed a cover for their report during one of their weekly art classes.
For homework, 4th graders were tasked with creating a model of their animal using recyclable materials and/or craft-related items. The finished projects were presented to students in the younger grades. Below are a few pictures of students with their models and research reports, as well as them speaking to students in the younger grades this past Friday afternoon.
