Yesterday afternoon our students and staff held a special assembly to thank Father Cavanaugh for his 14 years of service to Saint James School.  As announced in early May, Father Cavanaugh will retire from his current ministry with St. James Parish at the end of June.  The students honored Father with songs, prayers, and Irish blessings.  Here are some pictures from the afternoon student presentation and (after school) staff get together where Manchester Mayor Jay Moran presented a special proclamation naming June 30th Father Cavanaugh Day in Manchester.
