Last Fall (2019) every student in Pre-K3 through 8th grade took part in planting bulbs around the school as part of their science lessons. The bulbs were donated by (and planted under the guidance of) Mr. Richard Zaremba, retired science teacher/horticulture enthusiast/member of our local Knights of Columbus, who has been voluntarily maintaining our school’s (AMAZING!) flower beds for years.

This week, our pre-k3 through 8th graders all watched a video that Mr. Zaremba made for us detailing the different types of flowers that are now blooming around the school.  Students were then able to prepare (using directions from Mr. Zaremba) a flower from the school’s gardens to take home with them.  Below are a few pictures of the students taken today as well as a few pictures from the original planting in 2019.
