The Student Council at Saint James School provides students in grades 6 through 8 an opportunity to cultivate leadership and decision making skills.   Students who become involved with Student Council  are expected to maintain a high standard of personal conduct and make responsible decisions regarding their school.

Some of the benefits of being involved with Student Council include:

• Gaining experience in public speaking

• Gaining experience in planning special events and projects

• Ability to make a positive impact on the school and its relationship with the community

• Serving as a “voice” for the student body
