This past weekend select members of the Saint James School Cross Country Team participated in the Middle School State Championship meet at Wickham Park in Manchester.

Congratulations to SJS 8th grader Jameson Fisher, who WON the Boys East B Championship and had the best overall time (10.25 minutes) for the entire state in his division (out of 550 runners on the 1.7 mile course)!  Samuel Bellamy also earned a medal in the boys East B race, finishing 29th overall.

Yesterday, the entire team enjoyed their end-of-season banquet and awards ceremony in the gym.  A huge Thank You to Mrs. Page for stepping in as our head coach this year, and also to Mr. Rataic, Mr. Miller for assisting.  Here are a few pictures from the championship race and the banquet:
