Congratulations to Coach O’Neill and her runners on a fantastic finish to the season this past Saturday at the Middle School Cross Country State Championships at Wickham Park.

Out of 296 runners, Maya Fisher led the SJS girls with a 4th place finish, followed by Sarah Christina in 7th and Sammy Creamer in 44th.  All 3 girls received medals for finishing in the top 50.  Also competing for the girls was Cora Tierney who, although only in 5th grade still placed strong in a field of 6th-8th grade runners.

For the boys, out of 311 runners, Evan Ansaldi placed 3rd, followed by Erik Ansaldi in 18th place.  Both boys received medals for their performance.   Congratulations also to Henry Peeler who finished in 57th, 5th grader Jameson Fisher in 61stth, Hudson Quinlan in 83rd and Alejandro Oyewole in 129th!
