Congratulations to the 11 Cross Country runners that were selected to compete in the CT Middle School State Championships this past Saturday at Wickham Park.  Our runners competed in the East B races – a field of 263 runners for the boys and 248 runners for the girls.

In the boys’ competition, Saint James School had an amazing 4 runners take home medals.  Seventh grader Jameson Fisher  came in 1st place overall, followed by Twebasa D in 5th place, Alex T in 6th place, Hudson Q in 28th place, Rishi S in 62nd place, and Matt L in 88th place.

For the girls, our top place finisher was 6th grader Gia Fisher in 53rd place, followed by 6th graders Giada P (75th), Peyton R (95th), Amelia D (98th), and 7th grader Cora Ty (101st).

The Cross Country Team will enjoy a special luncheon tomorrow at school to celebrate the conclusion of another great season!
