Congratulations to the Saint James Cross Country team on a strong performance at their meet yesterday versus Illing Middle School and East Hartford Middle School!

The SJS boys finished first out of the three teams, sweeping the top spots with  seventh grader Jameson F taking 1st place, Twebaza D taking 2nd, and Alex T coming in 3rd.  Rounding out the top finishes for SJS were Hudson Q in 5th and sixth grader Sam B in 7th place overall.

For the girls, SJS sixth grade student Gia F had a very strong finish coming in 2nd place overall, followed by Peyton R in 6th place, Cora T in 8th, Amelia D in 9th and Giada P in 10th!

Great job Sabers!!

A HUGE Thank You to Coach O’Neill for all the time and dedication she puts into our Cross Country program!  And, also a special shout out to Mrs. Page for taking pictures at the meets for us to share!  Select members of our Cross Country team will continue to train over the next week and a half in preparation for the Middle School Cross Country Championships at Wickham Park on Saturday, November 6th.
