As part of their science lessons, Saint James School 1st graders celebrated Johnny Appleseed’s birthday this week with fun apple-themed books, crafts, projects, and writings.  Today our first graders made applesauce, tasted different apples and charted the results, learned about parts of the apple, and made made “star” stamps from sliced apples.
