Below are a couple of projects our 1st and 2nd grade students wanted to share in honor of the legacy and service of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

In his famous sermon preached in Detroit in 1954, Dr. King said, “The great problem facing modern man is that the means by which we live have outdistanced the spiritual ends for which we live,” words that still ring true today, 70 years later.  Here at SJS, it remains our hope that through faith-based lessons and values-based discussions, our students will, too, be inspired to shape a better tomorrow through their faith, leadership, and actions.
