During their religion class yesterday, 3rd grade students enjoyed a little fun with science as they discussed this month’s Friendzy theme of, “Respond Instead of React.”  The goal of this lesson is to help students think about how to effectively navigate situations that might be challenging or frustrating – an important leadership trait that can benefit students in all facets of life.

By mixing together water, dish soap, baking soda, and finally vinegar to the mixture to create a “reaction,” teachers created a fun, hands-on way to start the conversation in their classes.
