Our Dash robots like to play ball but these cute coding robots have no hands to carry a ball around.

Today, during their weekly technology enrichment period, Ms. Labowski’s 1st graders were tasked with using Legos to build a ball holder to put on Dash’s head so that he can carry a ball around.  The students had 10 minutes to build a ball holder for Dash, then they had to program their robot to move, dance, talk, and change his lights – all while keeping the ball balanced on his head.  Here are a few pictures Ms. Labowski took of this fun activity!  Mrs. Alexander’s 1st graders will get to do the same enrichment exercise on Monday.
