As part of their science lessons, Saint James School 1st graders celebrated Johnny Appleseed’s birthday on Friday with fun apple-themed books, crafts, projects, and writings.  Our first graders made applesauce, tasted different apples and charted the results, wrote a recipe,learned about parts of the apple, and drew their own pictures of Johnny Appleseed.  Thank you to the 1st grade teachers for sharing these fun pictures.
