SJS Girls Varsity Basketball Update

Congratulations to the Saint James Varsity Girls for winning the opening round of the Buzz Woodridge/Illing/Town of Manchester tournament with a score of 39-22. By utilizing a well-played & disciplined offensive approach,  Saint James took the early lead and never looked back.  Coach Sarpu noted the team’s passing was the best of the year and showed true teamwork among the players:  “The glue was the play of our excellent 8th grade leaders, but the Team was successful because of the ball movement, hustle, and smart play of our maturing, younger stars.”
