Last Thursday night, the Saint James School Foundation hosted a special reception to celebrate the 50th anniversary of it’s founding, and to honor two of its original founders, Bill O’Neill and Cathy Toomey, shown in the first picture below.

The Saint James School Foundation is a privately run endowment fund, dedicated to supporting our school community through an annual allocation of its invested assets.  This donation, which this past year was over $175,000, is used for tuition assistance, technology, and ‘margin of excellence’ programs at SJS.  The Foundation hosts a golf tournament at Manchester Country Club each year in support of their mission.

Last Thursday’s event was attended by past and present foundation members (which includes several current SJS parents and alumni/alumni parents); SJS administration, faculty, & staff; our Pastor, Father Marcin; and our Consortium President, Mary Alice Nadaskay.
