SJS Cheer Team Sign Up

The Saint James School 2025-2026 Cheer Team is open to students in 5th – 8th grade.  Parents/guardians of those interested in participating this year must complete the THIS FORM by October 7th. Please note, this is a hard deadline.  We will NOT be taking late submissions.

Fees & Paperwork

Required fees:  $90 activity fee plus approx $60 in additional items required for purchase (i.e. cheer shoes, etc.).  Specific details will be provided to families on the above registration list after the 10/7 deadline.  Returning cheerleaders are welcome to use their items from last year.

Please be prepared to submit the 2025-2026 Athletics Health Permission Form (signed by your student’s doctor) unless you have already submitted it.  Please remember a new Athletics Health Form must be submitted for each new school year. (Students currently running Cross Country for SJS do NOT need to submit a new form).

Cheer season coincides with basketball season: November – March. Practices will be held one evening a week. Participants will cheer at select basketball games throughout the season (sideline cheering and half-time routines), including some weeknights and some Saturday mornings.
