Today our 7th grade students had a special classroom visitor, Mrs. Melissa Zbell, who, through her job as a histopathologist, was able to bring in some human organs utilized for teaching purposes to show the kids.  Mrs. Zbell brought in a (diseased) lung, a brain, and several heart specimens which tied into the 7th grader’s lessons on the respiratory system.  Special thanks also to Mrs. Melissa Breton for coming in to aid in the discussions from her perspective as a nursing professional.  Here are a few pictures of our students enjoying this unique “hands-on” lesson.
