New Staff Updates

We have a few last minute changes to our teaching staff for the upcoming school year to share:

Mrs. St. Jean has moved back over to the K-8 school to teach second grade for this school year, one of the grades she taught here for several years prior to becoming our Pre-Kindergarten Director/Pre-K4 Teacher in 2018.

Mrs. St. Jean will maintain her supervisory role as the Pre-Kindergarten program director, and will continue to have an active role in the planning and decision making process of the program. Mrs. St. Jean planned and worked all summer to adapt the Pre-Kindergarten program to meet the needs of the upcoming school year and will continue to work with the staff there throughout the year.

At the same time, Mrs. Mauldin – who worked alongside Mrs. St. Jean in our Pre-K4 class last year, has moved into the role of Pre-K4 teacher.  We have also hired Mrs. Lori Lengsavath (who worked as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at St. Christopher School in East Hartford) to be our third staff member for the Pre-K4 program.  Our littlest learners – our Pre-K3s – will continue to be taught by Mrs. Page and Mrs. Davis.

In some other last minute news, Mrs. Lindemann will not be returning to us this year in the role of general music teacher, as her family just sold their home and will be moving out of the area.  We are in the process of hiring to fill this position and hope to have good news to share with the school community very soon.

In some unfortunate news, we have not yet found a suitable candidate to teach our Spanish curriculum.  We are actively continuing our search to fill this position.  We will communicate updates to you as soon as we have good news to share.
