Mother/Daughter Tea – St. James School

Thank you to Mrs. Davis & Mrs. Spadaccini for hosting the Mother/Daughter Tea this past Saturday at Saint James School. In addition to tea and delicious finger foods provided by Highland Park Market, attendees were given English etiquette lessons by a local woman who is a native of England; Attendees learned the proper way to curtsy, place their napkin on their lap, wave, and – of course – drink tea from a china cup. There was also a fun game involving British vs. American vocabulary and crafts that included making an English “Tea Party” hat. Below are a few pictures from this fun event.
