Spring Conference Sign Ups

As a reminder, Saint James School will have early dismissal days (12:05pm) March 20nd and March 21st for Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences.  Spring Conferences are OPTIONAL.  If you would like a conference with your child’s teacher, please use the links below to sign up.  Please note, all parents should sign up with the child’s homeroom teacher, except middle school parents (6th – 8th grade).  Middle school parents may select any ONE of their child’s teachers to sign up with.

Student Council To Meet Tomorrow

Last Call: Soiree Basket Items Due Tomorrow

Trimester II Ends Tomorrow

As a reminder, the second trimester ends tomorrow, Thursday, March 7th.  Report cards will be sent home with students next Friday, March 15th.

Box Tops Winner

Congratulations to  our latest winner of the Box Tops Dress Down Contest: Fifth grade with 498 Box Tops!  The students counted 1,140 total Box Tops yesterday.

We will be counting for the last time this school year on April 30th.

Ash Wednesday Mass Tomorrow

Tomorrow (March 6th) students in grades K – 8 will attend Mass at Saint James Church at 9:15am for Ash Wednesday. All SJS Parents/Guardians/Grandparents are welcome attend the Mass (please sit in the back few rows of pews).

Please note, you do not need to be a member of Saint James Church or even a member of the Catholic faith to attend any Saint James School Masses. We would love to see you there!

HSA Meetings This Week

Varsity Gold Boys Advance to Championship Game

With their victory over St. Paul last Friday night, the boys Varsity Gold basketball team advanced to tonight’s Central CT Deanery Championship game at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30PM.  All SJS families are welcome to come out and cheer on our players!

2019 SJS Soccer Sign-Up

It’s time to sign up for the 2019 Saint James Soccer season!  Boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 are eligible to play.  The season runs from early April through mid June.  If your child is planning to participate, please click on the link below to read the detailed information from Coach Sargent.  The sign-up form should be returned to the school office with the appropriate activity fee (make checks out to “Saint James School”) by March 20th.

  If your child has not previously participated in a sport at SJS this year, you will need to also submit the Athletics Health Form for 2018-2019 signed by your child’s doctor (see below).
