Arrival/Dismissal Reminders

Thank you to all of our families for your assistance in ensuring a smooth and safe morning arrival (and afternoon dismissal).  We appreciate the extra caution and adherence to our polices so that everyone has a great start (and end) to their school day!

A couple of reminders from the school office and from our crossing guards:

* Always have your child exit the car onto the sidewalk – never exit them into the road.  Also when they are getting into the car at dismissal – please have students hop in on the sidewalk side of the car.  These roads are so busy at arrival and dismissal, an accident can happen very quickly.

* Always cross at the cross walk and with the crossing guards during arrival and dismissal – do not dart across the street with your child.

* Please drive SLOWLY and carefully up to the school and when pulling away from the school.

* Please remember our Drop & Go area is only for students that are fully ready to quickly hop out of the car on their own.  If your student needs a few extra minutes or you wish to walk them to the breezeway, please pull into large parking lot with the basketball hoops.

Please be sure to share this information with anyone that drops off or picks up your child.

And, a great big thank you to everyone in the K-8 program for adjusting schedules to be a bit earlier in arriving today!  The teachers and administration truly appreciate it!
